Rin is a handmade dark bamboo (kurotake) chasen (matcha whisk), crafted in the traditional 真（しん / Shin / Zhen）shape.

Each chasen is handcrafted through 12 meticulous steps by skilled bamboo artisans, resulting in elegant curves and delicately carved tines.

Before use:
Before every use, place the chasen in hot water (80–85°C) for 30–60 seconds. This allows the bamboo to absorb moisture and regain flexibility.

It improves elasticity, reduces tip breakage and extends lifespan.

While using:
Rinse with clean water only. Do not use soap.

Shake off excess water. Air dry upright or on a whisk holder.
Avoid closed, humid storage.
